U.S. Hot Air Balloon Team offers breathtaking sunrise and sunset balloon flights over the stunning Lancaster County countryside, providing a bird’s-eye view of Amish farmland, covered bridges, and rolling Pennsylvania hills that few visitors ever experience. This is the quintessential way to see the beauty of Lancaster County. Flights typically last about an hour and cover several miles, with the exact route determined by wind conditions on the day. A champagne toast follows each flight, as is balloon ride tradition. Reservations are required well in advance, especially during peak fall foliage season. About 20 minutes from the inn, a balloon ride over Lancaster County is a genuinely unforgettable experience. Every once in a while they fly over the inn.
