Crossing a covered bridge, with beautiful views from every window, this romantic restaurant was once a speakeasy! There are 12 different rooms – small, intimate ones tucked away with wine cellars, or larger ones with real fireplaces. The patio is beautiful in the warmer months. They offer a very upscale menu with wonderful steaks and an impressive wine list. There’s also a casual lounge with a bar and a piano room with entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights. Be sure to look for the bottles locked for safekeeping on the walls….and also the black and white picture of a young Paul Newman in the entrance. AND….they grow a lot of their own herbs and vegetables. Open every day but Sunday.
