The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania is located in Strasburg – across the street form the Strasburg Railroad. It boasts over 100 full-size REAL trains – some you can climb onto and explore. You can learn much in this museum – fascinating history and how trains shaped America. You won’t believe the size and weight of some of these engines – and the power it took to get these beasts to move! The museum hosts several events, including the popular Trains and Troops in November, complete with a Swing Dance! There are also camps for kids in the summer months. Definitely worth a stop here – especially if you are riding the Strasburg Railroad.
