The National Watch and Clock Museum is dedicated to time and how we started to measure and display it. It’s the home of the largest collections of timepieces in the country. The beautiful display of antique grandfather clocks, early timepieces and scientific artifacts is extensive and so interesting. We had planned to spend a quick trip around the museum and ended up being kindly “kicked out” because it was closing time. They are open every day but Mondays and Tuesdays. Don’t miss the German Clock Table from 1570.
