Long’s Park

About Long’s Park

About 32 minutes from the Inn

Long’s Park in Lancaster is an 80-acre public park offering a beautiful natural retreat just minutes from downtown Lancaster City. The park features a large spring-fed lake, walking trails, picnic areas, an amphitheater, and a small petting farm that’s a hit with younger visitors. Long’s Park is perhaps best known for its free summer concert series, which draws thousands of locals every Sunday evening from June through August. The amphitheater also hosts the popular Long’s Park Art Festival each Labor Day weekend. They have a terrific display of fireworks to the patriotic music of the U.S. Army band around the Fourth of July. We like to park at Park City Mall parking lot and walk through the tunnel to the park – just follow the crowd!
