Kitchen Kettle Village in Intercourse is a very popular Lancaster County shopping destination that has grown from a small jam-making operation into a charming village of more than 40 specialty shops. Visitors come for the famous jams, relishes, and preserves — made on-site in small batches from local fruit — alongside fudge, candles, pottery, quilts, clothing, and handcrafted gifts. The village atmosphere is warm and unhurried, with food sampling, occasional demonstrations, and seasonal events throughout the year. Lots of opportunities to buy thank-you gifts and for the holidays. Be sure to sample some local wine at Waltz’s Tasting Room – we were a member of their wine club for many years.
