Located in a restored farmers market in Reading and serving an eclectic mix of Mediterranean foods – they are all wonderful and many are gluten free. Great appetizers to share, pastas, hearth-fired pizza, and full entrees. Many are made in the big hearth located in the middle of the restaurant. Look up and the ceiling looks like you are sitting in a gigantic wine barrel. Truly one of our favorites. They also own a more casual restaurant, Plein Air, which is currently undergoing renovations. A third restaurant, the Speckled Hen Cottage and Ale House boasts a causal menu and is open for lunch and dinners. Even though they are all (three restaurants in a row) downtown, there’s usually parking on the street in front or in a lot across the street. Only three blocks from Santander Performing Arts Center.
