This is the place to go if you want great meat, fresh produce, animals and junk! Green Dragon is a gigantic flea market on the outside and better quality items inside the buildings. Fresh produce, meats, cheeses, and anything and everything that you might want to eat (right now) is available both inside the buildings and outside in the lot. They are open year-round but only on a Friday. If you think that cold weather keeps folks away, you’d be wrong – one of their busiest days is Black Friday! Definitely worth a stop here. Auctions are held every week offering everything from junk to some real treasures. Pennsylvania Dutch Cooking is always available, along with ice cream or donuts. My favorite booth is the herb lady – she has powdered bay leaves for sale. If you are like me, those things usually get lost in the stew until someone chomps down on them. The powdered leaves eliminate that experience!
