Small and in the middle of nowhere, you’ll feel like you’re in the French countryside…or maybe Italy. This restaurant is so romantic that you’ll fall in love all over again. And YAAAAY, you can bring your own bottle of wine. We’ve been going here (Jan’s favorite) since 2005 and liked it so much that we wrote a blog about it. It has remained true to the excellent standard it set years ago with every dish just as photo-worthy as when we first discovered it. They now use Resy and have replaced the real candles with battery-operated ones, darn! Menus change weekly, often supplemented with specials. This tiny restaurant books early, so start four months in advance if you can. And this still don’t take credit cards – just checks or cash. The 45 minute drive is but a mere detail.
